MILLENNIUM UN PLAZA - Renovation starts April 2012
The hotel has two towers joined by the lobby of the hotel. The hotel will be renovated one tower at a time, this means that the hotel will continue to operate with one tower and no inconvenience to guests is expected. Currently, both towers have very different styles (appear to be two different hotels!) so after the renovation the hotel will have a more consistent and appealing look. THE HOTEL WILL BE OPEN AND WORKING AS USUAL.

El hotel tiene dos torres unidas por el lobby. El trabajo de renovacion sera de una torre por vez, con lo cual no se espera que los pasajeros tengan ninguna incomodidad de ruido u otras molestias. En este momento, ambas torres lucen muy diferente (parecen dos hoteles distintos!) y despues de la renovacion, el hotel tendra un aspecto mas consistente y contemporaneo. EL HOTEL CONTINUARA POR LO TANTO ABIERTO Y FUNCIONANDO NORMALMENTE.

Como todos nuestros Fans estan participando de un gran sorteo por una estadía de tres noches en el Hotel San Carlos en Nueva York, queremos que estén al tanto de todas las nuevas mejorías en este exquisito Hotel:

- El Hotel San Carlos tiene una nueva rampa de acceso a la recepción que es ideal para movilizar sillas de rueda, cochecitos de bebé, valijas con ruedas, etc. La estructura de mármol y vidrio es muy práctica y luce muy bien!

- Se han instalado enchufes recientemente en todas las lámparas, facilitando así el acceso a los mismos para cargar teléfonos, computadoras, etc. Ya no va a tener que estar de panza en el piso buscando los enchufes escondidos detrás del sofa... por lo menos no en el Hotel San Carlos!

- Se ha aumentado la velocidad del servicio de Wi-Fi en las habitaciones y sectores publicos del Hotel, asi es que cuando estén en el hotel podrán seguir visitando nuestra página de Facebook con una conexión super-rápida.

QUIEREN MAS NOVEDADES?

- El Hotel San Carlos acaba de instalar paneles de vidrio sólido frente a las ventanas existentes con el objetivo de eliminar el ruido exterior. En su próxima visita al hotel, los ruidos de Manhattan quedarán fuera de su cuarto!

- Todos estos servicios son en adición al cargador de Ipod en el reloj de la habitación, el desayuno continental sin cargo, las seis computadoras y dos impresoras para uso sin cargo en el business center... bueno, ya se hacen una idea...

- The Hotel has installed outlets in the lamps, making it very easy to plug anything. Now you will not have to be flat on your stomach looking for an outlet hidden behind the sofa.... not at the San Carlos Hotel anyway.

- The Wi-Fi Service in the rooms has been upgraded and is now faster than ever before... so that you can continue to check our Facebook page when you stay at the Hotel, now at the speed of light!
